How to effectively use other peoples ideas to design your landscape
While this tile decking around this pool is very beautiful, it looks like it might be a little warm on the feet. The dark color and solid dense consistency of clay tiles are a good combination for solar heat absorbtion. While it may be brighter on your vision, cool decking or even a lighter tile would cut down on the heat index around this pool. For night swimming however, this construction is a great combination as it would hold heat way into the morning hours.
The potted plantings around this pool add a little height and element. If you're going to use this type of layout for a landscape design around a pool, the planters would be best fitted with an automatic drip system. Otherwise, these clay pots would need hand watering several times a day in the Summer.
