Upon first glance, almost anyone would know the architectural style of this building is Japanese. And of course, it does have a huge influence in the atmosphere of this Japanese garden. Even still, if you were to remove the building from the garden it would still have an unmistakable Japanese atmosphere due to the type of plants used in the garden and thier placement.
Another common and symbolic element in Japanese gardens is rocks and boulders. And in this garden they are a very dominant feature.
