A Front Yard Waterfall
The front yard landscape isn't usually the best place for a waterfall or water feature. Though it's hard to see, this front yard does have a large waterfall as a main feature and focal point. While it may be a common sight in some areas, it's not the most practical spot for a waterfall or large water feature.
Generally, waterfalls and ponds are created for a relaxing atmosphere in areas where they can be enjoyed. Usually in a backyard, courtyard, patio, or garden. While this pond does provide some unique curb appeal to this home, It's very unlikely that it will become a favorite area for relaxing and gathering.

When creating your design, always consider the amount of time you're willing to give to take care of your landscaping or garden. A waterfall and pond like this requires a bit of maintenance. You may want to apply more of your maintenance schedule to the areas where you'll spend most of your time. Not to mention your budget.
