Rock Garden On A Slope
While I'm not real crazy about this design, I do like the rock steps access up the center of the rock garden. Almost every time I've seen rock steps like this that look like an outcropping, they've looked great. Even in nothing but an expanse of lawn leading up a hillside, they create a nice functional accent.
While this garden does its job of landscaping the slope, it would look better with a little more consistency and natural layout that flows intersecting the direction of the steps. Using a majority of one type of landscape rock with a few accents of another type would look more natural and appealing.
